One thing that a lot of the "gurus" often forget to mention is that there is a learning curve that everyone must go through before they start earning money online. Of course, the quickest way to get around that, is to start reading and learning. You can find tons of free information online and looking at all the product for sale can be a bit overwhelming.

To save you some time (and money), here are some resources I believe will lay the foundation for your Internet and Affiliate Marketing knowledge and get you started the right way:

E-Books

Are you the type of person that downloads an ebook based on the ad copy, but then you never get around to reading it? NOT GOOD! You really should stop what you're doing and read it before you go on. You'll eventually find out that most ebooks sold pretty much say the same thing. The ebooks I will recommend here will pretty much cover everything you need to know about internet marketing and affiliate programs. Training Sites

The recommended sites below are free and low-cost membership sites that provide some excellent training, tools and resources for the budding internet marketer. I like them or they wouldn't be here. Believe me, I've come across some that had information and resources almost as old as I am! :

MPAM - Prosperity With Integrity!

MPAM is an honest, member driven, support intensive business that will teach you how to earn a reliable monthly income over and over again. Established 2001 and still growing daily!

My recommendation to you: Sign up for the monthly membership, get what you can (all the ebooks for as long as you can. If you ever stop learning, you can always cancel your membership.

Article Submission Sites

Ok, with all the article submission software available, why would you want to manually submit your articles? One day, while doing a search of articles I submitted to see how many times they would appear, I noticed that on many, my "author's profile" was not listed. On some pages, the article directories provide a link to your profile, while others only provided your name.

Submitting articles is supposed to provide back-links to your website and help increase your page rank. Unless you include a link to your website within the article, you're defeating the purpose if your author's profile is not listed. With that said, below are some article directories, that display the full content of your article, including your author's profile. I also included their google page rank at the time of this writing in parenthesis:
